Το Reggae Vibes music festival διοργανώθηκε για πρώτη φορά το 2007 στην αμμώδη παραλία του Αλμυρού με τα καταγάλανα νερά, που αποτελεί σημείο αναφοράς για την περιοχή. Το φεστιβάλ αποτελεί ένα μουσικό δρώμενο σταθμό στην περιοχή του Αγίου Νικόλαου και γενικότερα της Κρήτης Reggae Vibes συμμετέχουν δημοφιλή συγκροτήματα από το εξωτερικό με μεγάλες επιτυχίες στα διεθνή charts και συνεχείς συμμετοχές σε φεστιβάλ παγκόσμιου βεληνεκούς.
Σκοπός του φεστιβάλ είναι να ικανοποιήσει τις μουσικές επιλογές των φίλων της reggae και dub μουσικής αλλά και να συνεισφέρει με το δικό του τρόπο στην πολιτιστική ανάπτυξη της πόλης του Αγίου Νικολάου, αναβαθμίζοντας έτσι την πόλη πολιτιστικά αλλά και τουριστικά.Το φεστιβάλ αποτελεί ήδη θεσμό για τους λάτρεις της reggae και της dub μουσικής όχι μόνο της Κρήτης αλλά και της υπόλοιπης Ελλάδας, αφού το πλήθος παραθεριστών που συγκεντρώνονται κατά τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες μπορεί να απολαύσει μουσικές βραδιές υψηλής ποιότητας σε έναν ειδυλλιακό χώρο.
Το 2016 υπήρξε η χρονιά του φεστιβάλ, αφού αισίως έκλεισε τα δέκα χρόνια με στοίχημα να μεγαλώσει ακόμα περισσότερο και όσον αφορά τις μέρες διεξαγωγής και το εύρος των καλλιτεχνών.
Η καλλιτεχνική επιμέλεια του γεγονότος γίνεται από τον Professor Skank που αποτελεί το Νο1 αντιπρόσωπο της χωράς μας στη διεθνή Reggae Dub σκηνή.
Αλμυρός, η πιο δημοφιλής παραλία της πόλης του Αγ. Νικολάου.

SKG'S DUB ALLIANCE is a project formed by three friends: Big Shine (voc), Digital Monk and Lorrd.
