    Nemanja Kojic (born 17 December 1975 in Belgrade, Serbia), widely known by his stage name Hornsman Coyote, is a Serbian reggae artist, trombone player, singer and a leader of reggae-metal band Eyesburn.
    Son of internationally known sculptor Borivoje Kojic, Nemanja spent spent his early childhood in Paris, France. After returning to Serbia, his uncle Ljubomir Dimitrijevic, musician, professor and musicologist, has introduced him to trombone. Besides trombone studies Coyote mastered guitar and bass.
    The long civil war in former Yugoslavia started against the will of the people in the beginning of 1990s
. Maturing under tremendous social pressure of raising nationalism and economic crisis rebel soul of Coyote couldn’t play by any rules or take any kind of authority. In 1990 he became a trombone player for Serbian reggae pioneers Del Arno Band. At the same time, he joined Belgrade hard core-punk band Dead Ideas as a guitarist. Playing regional tours with reggae act and small crowds of devoted hard core fans gave him unique perspective of the scene. Later, he joined very popular hip hop act Sunshine as a bass player, an engagement that brought him a lot of respect on the local hip hop / rap scene and resulted in many collaborations.
    In 1994 Coyote
formed a new band Eyesburn and became known as a vocalist. Eyesburn blended in an original way the genres of reggae, hard core, metal and hip-hop which resulted in instant popularity among all kinds of audiences locally and abroad. Second album Fool control puts Eyesburn on the top of Serbian rock scene in 2000, when they became one of the most publicly active bands of the moment. Openly politically engaged against the warlord regime and the system of oppression Eyesburn was a valuable ingredient of the Rock the Vote tour that called youth to vote for change and helped put the dictator down. Eyesburn’s song Shane, cover of Croatian legendary band Haustor from 1980s, was one of the anthems of “Serbian October revolution”.
    In 2004 Eyesburn was discovered by Max Cavalera (leader of Sepultura and Soulfly), that brought a chance to the band to tour Europe as an opening act for Soulfly and to record two studio collaborations, very successful songs Moses and Inner Spirit released on Soulfly albums Prophecy and Dark Ages (Roadrunner Records).
    In 2006, Eyesburn needed a break and Coyote wanted to try to establish himself as a reggae artist, trombone player and singer internationally. He packed up a small bag and a trombone and left to London in search for reggae producers willing to work with him. The first producer giving him a chance was Jerry Lions, guitar and bass player for reggae legends like Jah Shaka, Twinkle Brothers, Horace Andy etc. Lions is a part of a Paddington sound system Terrortone together with Tony Modesty who came up with a proper new stage name for Coyote introduced to UK dub and reggae scene – Hornsman Coyote. With Jah Rej (Jah Works UK) Coyote recorded three 12-inch vinyl releases and now already internationally recognized first Hornsman Coyote official trombone instrumental album Brass Roots. At the time Coyote has been invited to a small sound system tour in Poland as an opening act for On-U-Sound recording artist Ghetto Priest. A Polish booking agency Buxna started to promote Hornsman Coyote in Poland and worldwide. Polish record label Karrot Kommando signed a two album contract with Coyote as a vocalist. The first album What Next produced by Serbian producers MC Milovan, WikluhSky and UK veteran Neil Perch (Zion Train, Abassi All Stars) gave a big lift off to Hornsman Coyote. First single Glow Jah Light became a hit over night and Coyote started touring clubs and festivals all over Europe. At the same time Coyote instrumental recordings were very good rated on the UK and European dub-reggae scene, which resulted in around 30 vinyl releases up to this date. Next vocal album Self Defend You produced by BG Vertigo and Fat Z (Serbian producers) brought Coyote’s career to another level and he gained an opportunity to tour, perform and record in countries like Mexico, Ethiopia and later in South Africa.
    In 2011 Coyote returns to UK to open the show in Hootanany (Brixton-London) for Jamaican new roots icons Jah Mason and Lutan Fyah. He extended his stay in UK, visiting studios and recording horns for producers and artists like Bunnington Judah, Iration Steppas, Rolling Lion, Max Romeo, Lee Scratch Perry, Inspirational Sounds and Jerry Lions. After UK, touring continues with backing bands House of Riddim (AT), Dub Akom (FR) and Sun EL(PL) as an opening act for Jah Mason and Anthony B. On the road, Coyote recorded tracks like Center of Gravity produced by AL DUBB (Berlin dub productions, One Drop, Germany) and Unity produced by Mikkim (Prague, CZ). While not touring abroad Coyote is busy doing small sound system shows in Serbia with his partners Martinees Selecta and Dju and recording horns in his home studio for many different projects. He recently recorded horns for an upcoming new album of reggae godfather Lee Scratch Perry Scratch Back at the Controls, produced by Rolling Lion (UK).
    Since the mid of 2011 Coyote started working on the third Hornsman Coyote vocal album Belly of the Beast with guest appearances of Jah Mason, Lutan Fyah and produced by Bunnigton Judah and House of Riddim. In early 2012 Coyote teamed up with London based roots reggae and world music producer Dub Caravan on a new instrumental double vinyl release scheduled to go out from the press in October 2012.
    In the meanwhile, Eyesburn had a reunion which is accepted with great happiness from the audiences all over the Balkans. Matured and experienced, Eyesburn has been giving the most uplifting, enthusiastic and professional high level performances in their career up to this date.
